****** Entertainment Inc. is seeking an experienced Unity Developer to work closely with the producers, artists, and other developers to help create and implement multiplayer game features. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential. Previous experience with casino, card, and/or dice games is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities:

Develop the game’s features effectively using both the Unity Editor and C#.
Work with the game artist to create and integrate in-game assets.
Offer technical solutions to optimize the game’s performance, respecting artistic and creative directions.
Actively participate in reviews for the game’s art, audio, gameplay, user interface, etc.
Assist the rest of the team in the use of the tools and processes created for the project.
Integrate third-party SDKs into the Unity project.
Learn the project’s codebase and technologies quickly.
Keep up-to-date on new Unity versions and features.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Communicate and work effectively with the ****** team.

Requirements:

Professional experience in the gaming industry as a Unity developer (3+ years).
Participated in at least one complete cycle of development up through the delivery of a game project.
Excellent knowledge of Unity 2018+ and later.
Experienced with Unity 3D and 2D rendering, animation, physics, and user-interface development.
Experienced developing game state machines.
Experienced developing multiplayer games and managing client-server networking.
Experienced with iOS and Android game development.
Experienced with optimizing Unity games to support older mobile hardware.
Experienced creating custom Unity Editor tools.
Experienced integrating third-party Unity SDKs with provided C# APIs.
Experienced creating Unity C# wrappers for native iOS and Android libraries.
Experienced with Unity’s managed services (e.g., Unity Cloud Build).
A strong eye for visual design and a deep appreciation for pixel-perfect accuracy.
Familiar with Git and Git hosting services like GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, etc.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experienced with the technical steps in publishing to the App Store and Google Play Store.
Experienced with gRPC for client-server communication.
Familiar with the Mac or Linux command-line (i.e., Bash).
