Seeking a creative and energetic individual to join our team to enhance our social media programs across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Google, YouTube as well as website blogging.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, organized and self-sufficient person with initiative and drive to be involved with a leading First Nations art gallery.

A team-oriented, hands-on position to pursue new opportunities to engage, curate and report what’s trending in social media. You’ll participate in actively managing content and monitoring ongoing campaigns.


Manage social media platforms
As a part of a team, create posts as a part of daily activities and marketing campaigns
Ensure high-quality, consistent, brand aware and engaging postings
Engage in client responses and identify sales opportunities
Develop and maintain a social media calendar
Monitor market trends, community events and industry activity
Create monthly analysis reports for management
Blogging on website
Strengthening connections with media and social media influencers
Special projects include – livestreaming initiatives, videography assistance


Quick learner, flexible, and creative thinker with fresh ideas
Excellent communicator with strong writing, proofing and editing skills
Focused with good project management skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met
Strong initiative with a positive “can do” attitude
Meticulous attention to detail
Will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excited to be a team player
Proactive and strategic approach to problem resolution
Willingness to take on new responsibilities
Proficient with all platforms
Ability to work within a flexible weekly schedule including weekends
Preference for candidates experienced with Adobe Photoshop, WordPress and WooCommerce

Experience and Background:

Diploma or degree in Marketing and/or Communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 1 year in a similar role
Passion for the arts, particularly First Nations
Experience in using Facebook Business Manager and online social media platforms
